1931 – FREDERICK WILSON – 2026 Frederick (Fred) Joseph Wilson passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at the age of 94 years with his children by his side. Fred leaves to cherish his memory his children, Daniel (Linda) Wilson and Marie (Marc) Netolitzky, both of Medicine Hat; two grandchildren, Kali Wilson and Corbin Netolitzky; three great-grandchildren, Sophie and Meriah Yanke and Natalia Tschritter-Yanke; as well as numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews in the UK. Fred was pre-deceased by his wife, Norma Wilson; parents, Frederick (Rachel) Wilson; sisters, Doreen and Marie (Rae); and brothers, Peter and Terrence (in infancy). Frederick was born on November 13, 1931, in Grimsby, Lincolnshire, England, where he was raised and later joined the Royal Air Force. During his early years, he completed his education and training as a finishing carpenter and jointer. In 1969, he immigrated to Canada, where he eventually met the love of his life, Norma. The two were married on May 13, 1972, and together built a life centered around love, devotion, and family. Above all else, Frederick treasured his family, who remained the greatest joy and most important part of his life. Please join his family at a graveside service at Hillside Cemetery, Monday, May 25, 2026, at 12:00 PM with Pastor Shane Hein officiating.
