YVONNE IRENE HOLE (NEE BERGMAN) December 12, 1940 May 15, 2026 Our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, Yvonne Irene Hole of Cochrane, AB, passed away peacefully with family by her side on Friday, May 15, 2026, at age 85 years.
Yvonne is lovingly remembered by her children, Ron (Maureen), Denise (Wayne), Nancy (Darcy), Nadine (Bronc), and Jarvis (Daina); her sister, Marian; her brother-in-law, Duncan and Ken; and her sister-in-law, Lucille; her sixteen grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. She will also be dearly missed by her friends at the Big Hill Lodge.
She was predeceased by her parents, Yvo and Ruth Bergman (Collins); her sisters, Arlene, Lorel, and Leslie; and her husband, Ron.
Yvonne was born on December 12, 1940, in Medicine Hat, AB. Yvonne and Ron met and fell in love despite living in different areas of the same town, and they enjoyed sixty years of marriage. They were blessed with five children and raised their family in Medicine Hat, AB, Prince Rupert, BC, Dawson Creek, BC, and Fort St. John, BC.
After retiring from her telecommunications career, Yvonne spent her time developing her craft as a beautiful embroiderer and was an avid shopper and appreciator of shiny and sparkly things.
Yvonne will always be remembered for her kindness, caregiving spirit, generosity, and love of Christmas. She will be missed dearly by many.
