Early in the morning of November 30, 2012, at the age of 92, Avis peacefully passed over to be with her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, and a joyous reunion with her daughter.
Her last years in Lethbridge were blessed with her niece Diane’s love and nurturing. Avis leaves behind her son-in-law Richard Jensen; her niece Diane Meszaros; her two grandchildren Dean Jensen & Michelle Lukas; and her five great-grandchildren, Jennalee, Braydon, Rieley, Emrey, Hadley; and brother George Kermack. Avis was predeceased by her daughter Sandra Jensen, parents William and Margaret Kermack, sister Margaret King and baby brother Ian Kermack.
A Celebration of Avis Carr’s Life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Eastside Memorial Chapel (5388 Memorial Drive N.E.) on Friday, December 7, 2012 at 1:00p.m. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
