1947 ~ 2013
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Keith Albert Sullivan on June 3, 2013 at the age of 65.
Keith is survived by his wife Cecilia Nicolas-Sullivan of 10 years, daughter Tammy (Dave) Kostersky, grandchildren Zachariah and Kaytia of Yorkton, SK and daughter Rebecca (Trent) Gaehring and grandson Devon of Lethbridge, AB. Keith also leaves to mourn his passing his sister Linda Birch of Orangeville, ON and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Keith was born and raised in Richmond, QU. At the age of 19, he travelled to Calgary where he began a career in welding and later framing. In 1978, he moved his family to Lethbridge where he led the development of the Tudor Estates residential area. After many years operating Keith Sullivan Construction, Keith joined Ward Bros Construction LTD where he was in charge of many projects including the Lethbridge Community College, Good Samaritan Society Prairie Ridge in Raymond and several schools in Lethbridge and area. Keith enjoyed travelling the country on his Harley with his friends as well as fishing both in the summer and winter. Even though his diagnosis of Glioblastoma (brain tumor) offered a short life span, his determination and will to live allowed him to exceed any expectations from the medical community. His open heart and fun spirit will be missed by all who loved him.
A special thank you to all friends and family for their support and to all of the staff at the St. Michael’s Palliative Care Centre for all your loving care.
Friends and family are invited to pay their respects from 10:00 am – 11:00am on Thursday, June 6, 2013 at MARTIN BROTHERS RIVERVIEW CHAPEL | 610 4th Street South, Lethbridge. A Funeral Service will follow at 11:00am with Reverend Glenda Wert officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Michael’s Palliative Care Centre | 1400 9th Ave South, Lethbridge, Alberta T1J 4V5.
