Ronnie Black Plume, at the age of 50 years, passed away on August 28, 2014 at Levern, AB Canada. He was born on July 13, 1964 in Cardston, AB at the Blood Indian Hospital to Harrison Black Plume (deceased) and Bernadette Morning Owl (deceased). Ronnie grew up in Iisoitapii, attended school in Levern, Glenwood, Hill Spring and St. Marys,. later graduating from the Lethbridge Community College Safety Training Program. He worked for Thunder Chief Gas Bar as a Gas Jockey and Night watchman for many years. Ronnie was always joking around, was never serious and always had something to say when we were sitting around telling stories. Before he met the love of his life, he was always at Karen and Lloyd McHughs place. His many adventures in life included the sport of hockey, fastball and drumming with the Levern Drummers and Eagle Ridge drum group. He travelled to many tournaments and Powwows all across Canada and the United States. Ronnie was predeceased by his wife Victoria Scout, with whom he had a happy life surrounded by children, grandchildren and great grandchildren; parents: Harrison Black Plume and Bernadette Morning Owl; brothers: Jordan Chief Moon, Douglas Black Plume, Calvin Cat Face, Mary Black Plume, Leonard Gros Ventre Boy, Louis Chief Moon. Ronnie is survived by his children Justine (Cletus) Big Throat, Anita Scout, Patricia (Tom) Soop, Vikki (Jim) Briggs, Vincent (Karrie) Scout, Heather (Craig) Many Bears, Ashley Scout; 20 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren; siblings: Shirley Chief Moon, Jimmy (Melinda) Chief Moon, Matthew (Mary-Ann) Chief Moon, Willie (Jessica) Black Plume, Doreen Black Plume, Bernice (Greg) Plain Woman, Rodney "Mann" Black Plume, Suzanne (Delvin) Chief Moon, Doris (Kilroy); his adopted brothers: Lloyd McHugh and Robin Cat Face; uncle and aunts: Ray Black Plume, Lucy Black Plume and Janette Bear. A Wake Service will be held at Senator Gladstone Hall, Blood Reserve on Sunday September 7, 2014 from 7:00 to 11:00 p.m. continuing all night at Doreen Black Plumes residence. The Funeral Service will be held at Senator Gladstone Hall, Blood Reserve on Monday September 8, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. Interment in the Blood Band Cemetery, Blood Reserve.
