H. GENE POWLESLAND, born November 9, 1958, passed away peacefully in Cardston, Alberta on Friday, October 24th, 2014 at the age of 55 years. He is survived by his wife, Vicki, and children, Darren (predeceased), Corey (Shelley), Brandy, Jaydn (Madison), Karli, Casey and Capri, and 5 grandchildren. He was a kind and gentle man, always happy, and his first concern was his family even during his last days. He loved farming, ranching, hunting, fishing and camping with his family. Friends may meet the family at Legacy Funeral Home, Cardston on Tuesday, October 28th from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. or at the Church from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. prior to the Service.The Funeral Service will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Cardston Alberta Stake Center (East Hill) on Wednesday, October 29th, 2014 at 11:00 a.m.Interment in the Aetna Cemetery.
