JOAN CONSTANCE RANDALL, beloved wife of Tom Randall of 61 years, passed away peacefully at Legacy Lodge on Monday, January 4, 2016 at the age of 79 years.

Besides her loving husband, she is survived by her family: Gary and Betty Schmidt of Coalhurst along with their children: Shannon (Randy) Okuma, Cristin Schmidt, Charlene (Mitchel) Dibben, Leslie (Jim) King and Carolyn (Matt) Luff and grandchildren: Wren and Nathaniel Okuma, Mackenzie and Annika Schmidt, Makayla Schmidt-Luff, Jayden Luff Payton King and Jeanette Chlopin,.

Joan was born February 25, 1936 in Calgary, Alberta and worked most of her life in the trucking industry. Most of all she loved to be with her husband, Tom.

May each day now be blessed with a beautiful angel to nurture, cuddle, protect and guide us with all that she is. She will forever be remembered and cherished but never forgotten as she is now all around us.

Joan, rest in peace and we are glad you are finally free of all the pain and suffering you had endured over the past few years. It is never pleasant to see a loved one go but in this case FLY, FLY, FLY as high as you can go. You are free, surely to be missed and forever to be loved.

Tom and the Schmidt family would like to thank the staff of Legacy Lodge for their loving and compassionate care of Joan over the past few years. We would also like to thank Joan’s Home Care Nurse, BJ Milman, for everything she did for her.

A Private Family Service will be held at a later date. Flowers are gratefully declined. Donations can be made to Joan’s favourite organization; Harbour House – 604 8th Street South, Lethbridge, Alberta, T1J 2K1
