Joan was born February 25, 1936 in Calgary, Alberta and worked most of her life in the trucking industry. Most of all she loved to be with her husband, Tom.
May each day now be blessed with a beautiful angel to nurture, cuddle, protect and guide us with all that she is. She will forever be remembered and cherished but never forgotten as she is now all around us.
Joan, rest in peace and we are glad you are finally free of all the pain and suffering you had endured over the past few years. It is never pleasant to see a loved one go but in this case FLY, FLY, FLY as high as you can go. You are free, surely to be missed and forever to be loved.
Tom and the Schmidt family would like to thank the staff of Legacy Lodge for their loving and compassionate care of Joan over the past few years. We would also like to thank Joan’s Home Care Nurse, BJ Milman, for everything she did for her.
A Private Family Service will be held at a later date. Flowers are gratefully declined. Donations can be made to Joan’s favourite organization; Harbour House – 604 8th Street South, Lethbridge, Alberta, T1J 2K1
