CLARA ELSA LIVINGSTONE, passed away at Prairie Ridge in Raymond, AB on Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at the age of 91 years. She is survived by her children: Larry (LaVerle), Theron (Betty), Karen (Kenneth) Pirie; 14 grandchildren and 45 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by two infant sons, Gary Donald and Wesley Ernest; an infant grandson Kyle Livingstone; and George, her beloved husband of 65 years.

She was a dedicated worker in the United Church, singing in the choir, organizing events and volunteering in any capacity in the community that required her assistance. Music, laughter, and a bountiful table were part of her. She treated everyone equally and all were welcome at her table and there was always a special invitation for those who played bridge.

The family would like to extend a special message of gratitude to everyone at Prairie Ridge for the kindness, care, and honor they all showed our mother.

2 Condolences for “LIVINGSTONE Clara”

  1. Debbie (Diebert) Zuback says:

    Larry, Theron & Karen, & Families;
    I had not heard of your mom’s passing until this evening and am so sad but also glad to have heard that Clara had gone on ahead to sing in heaven and to be again with George. She was always a busy lady and was a great friend of our mom, Alvina Diebert. May your hearts be filled with wonderful memories of your mom & dad and to keep those memories close to your hearts forever….and tell your children and grandchildren all about those great memories.
    With Sincerest Sypathy, Debbie

  2. Ron & Diane Lehr says:

    We just learned of the death of Aunt Clara and wish to extend to the family our deepest sympathies. Both Ron and I have great memories of her. She was my favorite Aunt and right from the first time I met her she made me feel like one of the family. I loved her laugh and her sense of humor and I will miss her. We had some good talks about her & Ron’s Crohn’s Disease. They shared a bond and could relate to some of the struggles they both went through. Sincere condolences to the family.
