LEONARD OLD SHOES, (Natohkottayohpowa), beloved husband of Bernice Scout, passed away at the Cardston Hospital, on Monday, May 9, 2016 at the age of 63 years.

Leonard is survived by his wife, Bernice Scout. His son Kendon (Lacey) Scout. Daughters, Lanni (Brian) Plume, & Stacey (Fred) Scout. His grandchildren Alejandro, Keira, Katniss, Sharmaine, Shayleigh, & Shanacey. His brother John (Holly) Old Shoes, & his sister Pauline Tallow. Also numerous nieces & nephews too numerous to mention.

Leonard was predeceased by his parents Mark & Eva Old Shoes, Peter & Elizabeth Bignose. His uncles Mike Yellowbull & Willie Scraping White. His brothers Percy, Mark, & Joe Old Shoes. His sisters Florence Red Crow, Katie Rider, Joyce Weasel Moccasin, & Alice Cross Child. His nephews Tweedy & Ray Old Shoes. His niece Glenda Scout. His Brother in-laws Hugh, Vernon Scout & Roy Tallow.

A Candle Light Vigil will be held at Leonard Old Shoes’ Residence on Friday, May 13, 2016 at 8:00 P.M.

A Family Service will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, 2800 Mayor Magrath Drive South, Lethbridge, AB., on Sunday, May 15, 2016 at 4:00 P.M.

The Wake will be held at MOSES LAKE GYM, Blood Reserve, AB., on Sunday, May 15, 2016 from 6:00 to 10:00 P.M. and will continue after at Leonard Old Shoes’ Residence, continuing all night.

The Funeral Service will be held at ST. PAUL’S ANGLICAN CHURCH, Blood Reserve, AB., on Monday, May 16, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. with Archdeacon Sydney Black officiating.

Interment to follow at St. Paul’s Cemetery, Blood Reserve, AB.
