It is with sadness and gentle relief, that we announce the passing of BRYAN NICHOLAS BOLOKOSKI, beloved husband of Elaine, on Thursday, July 28, 2016, after a valiant battle with pancreatic cancer. He was born in Lethbridge on November 2, 1948 and lived on the family farm, east of Warner until completion of high school. Bryan attended LCC and spent his life in retail; with Woolco, Eldorado RV, Glidden Paints and Field of RV Dreams.

Besides his loving wife, Elaine, Bryan leaves to cherish his memory his son Drew (Kelsi) of Osoyoos, BC, his daughter Dee (Ed de Bruin), his precious grandson, Grayson Nicholas and his much anticipated second grandchild due in October, his sister, Beverley (Richard) Dunn, sister-in-law, Truus Bolokoski, his aunt Elsie Nygaard, all the special in-laws from Elaine’s family and many nieces, nephews, extended family and great friends.

Bryan was predeceased by his parents, John and Anne and his dear brother Marvin, as well as grandparents, and many aunts and uncles. Bryan loved sports. He participated in school and community sports through school. He was an avid golf enthusiast. As a family, we camped, fished, jeeped, skied and golfed. He was active in Drew’s sports as a coach, team rep and whatever was needed. Bryan was a die-hard Hurricanes and Calgary Flames fan. Bryan was hardworking and would do anything for anybody. He was talented and his handiwork can be seen in the homes of many family members. He was happiest when he had a project underway. Our family home and yard were always well maintained. Bryan had a passion for his roses, which were enjoyed by so many and a stunning sight to see.

A Memorial Service to honor, celebrate and remember Bryan will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, 2800 Mayor Magrath Drive South, Lethbridge, on Friday, August 5, 2016 at 1:00 P.M.

Memorial tributes may be made in Bryan’s name to Pancreatic Cancer, c/o Canadian Cancer Society, 317 – 10 Street S, Lethbridge, AB., T1J 2M7 or to the St. Michael’s Health Centre, Palliative Care Unit, 1400 – 9 Avenue S, Lethbridge, AB., T1J 4V5.
