PUSHOR, Dale
Posted: January 22nd, 20181947 – 2018
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden and tragic passing of Dale on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 with his loving wife by his side. Dale enjoyed his retirement after more than 30 years as a Federal, and then Provincial Meat Inspector. He was an honest, hardworking, caring, and fun-loving man who loved the outdoors whether it be hunting, fishing, trapping, hiking, gardening, or going for a drive to the mountains. He particularly looked forward to his weekly outings with the grand-dogs. However, he also reveled in sitting down with a cold beer and watching “the big game”. Above all, he loved his family and was especially proud of his children and grandchildren. He was their greatest fan/coach/critic be it baseball, basketball, hockey, football, volleyball, golf or rugby. Dale is survived by his wife of 52 years Ann; son Keith (Shaunna); grandchildren Rylan, Tysen and Mikaela; daughter Darlene (Frank); granddaughter Destinee (Cyi) and great granddaughter Violet; son Jamie (Lisa) and grandchildren Anna, Pete, Michelle, Daniel, and Ava; brother Howard (Georgina) Pushor; sisters May Drysdale and Carol Audenaert; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Grant and Verona Pushor; sister Pat Carragher; brothers Jerry and Grant Pushor; and dear little Ronnie. He will forever be loved, missed, and cherished and the part in each of our hearts and lives that he filled will never be the same. Rest in peace my dearest husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, caretaker, mentor, and friend. Close friends and family are welcome to join in Dale’s Memorial Service at 1:00pm on Monday, January 22, 2018 at MARTIN BROTHERS RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610 – 4th Street South, Lethbridge, Alberta. A Visitation will be held one-hour prior. Flowers are gratefully declined. For those who wish, memorial donations may be made in Dale’s name to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Box 2211 Lethbridge, Alberta, T1J 4K7, the Lethbridge Food Bank, 1016 – 2 Ave S, Lethbridge, Alberta, T1J 0C9, or pick up a piece of trash in the coulees!
