“Somewhere beneath a bluer sky

In a higher realm where eagles fly,

A land of beauty beyond our knowing

With trees, flowers and waters flowing,

And mountains of unearthly grace

The Great Spirit has made a place,

And chose a sunny winter day

To guide our loved one, Edouard, away

To the spirit world where we’ll all meet;

Our family will again be complete.
