STEVENSON JAMES GEORGE RAY STEVENSON, beloved son of Mark and Trina Stevenson, passed away peacefully on January 17, 2026 at the age of 26.
Born February 19, 1999, in Lethbridge, Alberta, James grew up in Taber and graduated from W.R. Myers High School in 2017. James was known for his kind heart and stubborn determination. While he had few passions in life, the love he had for his family was tremendous, especially for his niece, nephews, and younger cousins. When he wasn’t spending time with them, he could often be found buying, selling, trading, fixing or breaking anything with wheels.
In addition to his loving parents, James is survived by his brother, Curtis (Robbie-Lee) Stevenson of Taber, Alberta; his niece and nephews; his grandparents; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and friends.
James was predeceased by his nephew, Tydus Stevenson, and maternal grandfather, Calvin Bodnar.
Close family and friends are invited to celebrate the life of James at the ST. AUGUSTINE CATHOLIC CHURCH, 5009 48 Avenue, Taber, Alberta on Saturday, August 1, 2026 at 11:00 A.M. A luncheon will follow in the Lower Hall of St. Augustine Catholic Church.
