KASZAS August 14, 1929 – August 9, 2026 It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beloved mother MARY KASZAS. She lived on the farm, by Lethbridge, where she and her late husband John raised their 3 girls: Pat (Rudy), Bet (Weldon) and Susan. Mary also leaves behind her grandson Jesze (Ally) whom she cherished and who brought so much happiness to her life with his warm hugs.
She is also survived by her brother Fred Ponech, numerous nieces and nephews, and sister-in-law Lucille (Nick) Ponech. She was pre-deceased by her husband John and her 2 brothers Nick and Andy.
Her last several years were marred by breast cancer, which she bravely endured with the help of her family, the staff at the Jack Ady Cancer Centre, as well as Bobbi and her staff from AHS Homecare, to which our heartfelt thanks go out to.
In honour of Mary’s wishes, a service will not take place. In lieu of flowers, we implore everyone to get screened for breast cancer.
Mary will be cherished for eternity as she was in life.
