ADACHI, Joyce

ADACHI Joyce Adachi passed away peacefully on August 21, 2026 at the age of 72 years. She was born in Fernie, B.C. on September 2, 1953 and lived in Natal, B.C. until she attended Selkirk College for nursing. Her career began in Cranbrook, followed by several years on the coast. Joyce received her nursing degree from the University of Lethbridge and concluded her career as the Administrator of Extendicare in Lethbridge.
Joyce lived her life! She made an effort to connect with and spend time with her wide circle of friends. She was constantly learning, willing to experience new things, and travelled whenever the opportunity arose.
Joyce is survived by her mother, Yukiye Adachi, her brothers Victor Adachi and Robert Adachi and her sister Jane Adachi, as well as several Aunts, Uncles and cousins. She was predeceased by her father Senkichi Adachi.
A Memorial Service will take place at 10:30 AM, on Sunday September 6, 2026 at the Buddhist Temple of Southern Alberta 470 40 St. S. Lethbridge AB.
Joyce requests that you wear your favorite or most colorful clothes to the service. Suits are optional.
