STEVENSON, Patricia “Patti”

Posted: September 18th, 2026

STEVENSON Patricia (Patti) Joan Stevenson, of Taber, beloved wife of Reid Stevenson, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 15 at the age of 71 years.
She was the loving mother of Mitchell Stevenson and Alexis Stevenson, both of Lethbridge, and the proud and devoted grandmother of Nora Stevenson. She is also survived by her siblings: Jim McDonald, Suzanne McDonald, Janette McDonald, Keith McDonald, Paul McDonald, Gord McDonald, and Kathy Bates.
She was predeceased by her mother and father, Jo and Ken McDonald.
Born and raised in Taber Alberta, Patti grew up in a large family, where she learned the values of kindness and importance of family connections. As a young woman, Patti enjoyed sports and was actively involved in figure skating, basketball and softball. She passed her love of sports on to her children and dedicated countless hours cheering from the sidelines, travelling near and far, being the biggest fan, and greatest encourager of their sporting pursuits, whether it was at the rinks or at the ball diamonds.
Family was at the center of Patti’s life. She valued every opportunity to bring loved ones together and some of her most loved memories were created during family trips to Whitefish, Montana. Whether sharing a cup of coffee, enjoying a sweet treat, or spending time with family and friends, she treasured life’s simple pleasures. She was known for her soft nature, love of leopard print and fondness for a little sparkle and bling. But most of all, Patti will be remembered for her caring heart and devotion to her family.
A private celebration of Patti’s life will be held with her family.
