Posted: March 24th, 2014

Patricia “Paddy” Johnson of Medicine Hat, beloved wife of Gordon Johnson, passed away on Monday, March 17th, 2014 at the age of 58 years.

Paddy leaves to cherish her memory her children, Ciara (Justin) Feko of Medicine Hat, Kayla Johnson of Calgary and Nathan Johnson of Medicine Hat; and her dearest granddaughters, Andee and Sara Feko; her sister, Terry (Tom) Hannan and their daughters, Jodi (Don) Emma and Jace, Christy (Cody) Shayna, William and Wyatt; Paddy’s large extended family, and many life-long friends. She was predeceased by her parents, Jane and James Cantwell. Paddy was born December 22nd, 1955 raised in Medicine Hat, graduating from McCoy High School. Paddy was accomplished at whatever she put her mind to, from arts and crafts to several successful home businesses. She bestowed her entrepreneurial spirit to her granddaughters, helping them with their projects. She was always very organized and the person you called when something was needed. Her latest passion was with beads, crafting dazzling jewellery for the Medalta Market. Paddy had a wonderful sense of humour and lit up the room with her vibrant presence. Paddy’s greatest love was for her husband, Gordie, with whom she shared 28 years of marriage. They were not just husband and wife, but the deepest of friends.
