Mrs. Appolonia “Lona” Catherine Koch, beloved wife of the late George Koch, passed away peacefully at St. Joseph’s Home Carmel Hospice with her family by her side, on Thursday, April 24, 2014, at the age of 95 years. Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at Cook Southland Funeral Chapel, 901 – 13 Street S.W., Medicine Hat on Friday, May 2, 2014, between 6:00 p.m. and 6:55 p.m. Vigil Prayers will follow at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will also be offered at the Church starting one hour prior to the Funeral Mass. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Family Parish, 1451 Strachan Road S.E., Medicine Hat, on Saturday, May 3, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. with the Very Reverend Father Long Vu celebrant.
