Mr. Marvin Elchuk of Medicine Hat, beloved husband of the late Mrs. Signa Elchuk, passed away on Sunday, May 18th, 2014 at the age of 73 years. Marvin leaves to cherish his memory one son, Rick (Connie) Elchuk of Medicine Hat; one daughter, Brenda Nicholson (Cliff Dell) of Medicine Hat; three grandchildren, Alyshia, Courtney and Tiffany; one brother, Dave (Darlene) Elchuk; six sisters, Sarah Westerman, Eileen (John) Griffin, Ruth (Emil) Krein, Shirley (John) Bazos, Audrey (Pat) Gray and Gladys (Dave) Herron; two sisters-in-law, Sheila (Beverley) Read and Linda Kristoffersen; as well numerous nieces and nephews. Marvin was predeceased by his wife, Signa; his parents, Thomas and Mary Elchuk; and two brothers-in-law, John Westerman and Tommy Kristoffersen. The family would like to thank all the staff at the Valleyview for taking excellent care of Marvin; he really enjoyed his time there. Thanks are also extended to Dr. W.A. Ruzycki and Karan Sweet for their years of wonderful care and Dr. P. Best, Dr. J. Foley and the nurses and staff of 6W at the Medicine Hat Regional Hospital. A Private Family Service will be held in HILLSIDE CEMETERY with Gary W. Goran officiating.
