Mrs. Gail Elaine Clarke (nee McLean), wife of the late Mr. Arthur Clarke, passed away peacefully while at the Medicine Hat Regional Hospital on Wednesday, June 11, 2014, at the age of 76 years. Gail was born in Winnipeg, MB., the eldest of two daughters to Colin and ?Madeline McLean. She completed her schooling in Winnipeg and married Art in 1962, sharing 24 years of marriage before his untimely passing in 1986. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and was fond of helping with the festivities surrounding Canada Day. Gail will be forever remembered in the hearts of her three daughters, Meredith, Jocelyn and Erin; her grandchildren, Lucas and Sophie; nieces and nephews, Sandy, Frank, Alana, Heather and her grand-niece, Laura. She was predeceased by her husband, Art; parents, Colin and?Madeline as well as one sister, Sandra. The family wish to thank Dr. Glas, Dr. Monte and the staff of Health Worx and Drs. I got to know Gail when we worked together at an accounting firm here in Medicine Hat. I enjoyed working with her and visiting during breaks and lunches. I lost touch with Gail through the past years however often think of her. I am sorry for myself that I did not make more of an effort to get to see her again. She helped me during my years at the accounting firm and I always admired and respected her. I am so sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this time of sorrow. The memories you have are treasures to revisit.
