1955 ~ EDDIE JASTRAU ~ 2015Posted: July 21st, 2015
Eddie leaves to cherish his memory his daughters, Danielle Jastrau, Kimberley Jastrau, grandsons Shawn Jastrau and Quinn Swagor, his sister Ingrid Petke, brothes Walter Jastrau, Werner Jastrau, Hans Jastrau, many loving nices, nephews and extended family as well as his close friend Joshua Wiebe.
Ed loved a challenge and over the years he worked on the CP Rail, in car sales, real estate, oil and gas construction, all the while spending time doing renovations for over 20 years until he was forced to give up on the career he loved due to his illness. He enjoyed honing his personal style, fishing, buying and selling cars and collecting treasures to share with his daughters. He also enjoyed movies, reading and deep conversations. Ed was always there for his good friends with a hot tea or coffee for a chat and a listening ear.
Funeral services for Eddie will be at St. Peter Lutheran Church, 758 8th Street S.E. in Medicine Hat, Alberta on Thursday, July 23 from 2:00pm with luncheon provided by the family immediately after the funeral in Grace Hall at St. Peter’s.
Memorial donations may be made to Canadian Transplant Association (CTA)
