Rose Martin of Medicine Hat, beloved wife of the late Sam Martin, passed away on Wednesday, March 23rd, 2016 at the age of 88 years. Rose leaves to cherish her memory her one brother, Philip (Jeanette) Stach; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Rose was predeceased by her husband, Sam in 1998; her parents, Emanuel and Elisabeth Stach; four brothers; and five sisters. Sam and Rose were owners of Scenic Service & Restaurant in Fort Qu’Apelle, Saskatchewan for many years. They retired to Medicine Hat in 1978. Rose loved to knit and crochet. She was an avid reader and enjoyed listening to western music. Rose will be lovingly remembered by her family and friends. Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at SAAMIS MEMORIAL FUNERAL CHAPEL, #1 Dunmore Road SE, on Friday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 12:00 to 12:55 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at SAAMIS MEMORIAL FUNERAL CHAPEL on Saturday, April 9th, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. with Gary W.
