1950 ~ WILLIAM “BILLY” JUSSILA ~ 2017
Posted: August 3rd, 2017It is with great sadness that the family of William Rodney David “Billy” Jussila announce his sudden passing on Friday, July 28th, 2017 at the age of 67 years. Billy is survived by his brother, Robert “Bob” (Merlyn) Jussila; his nieces, Aileen (Ken) Pilon, Kathy Warren, and Treena Heshka; his nephew, Robert (Martina) Jussila; and six great nieces and nephews. Billy was predeceased by his parents, Ansgarius and Martha Jussila; and his sister, Elsie Jussila. Billy was born in Medicine Hat on April 3rd, 1950. His childhood was spent between the family farm in Manyberries and Medicine Hat. During his adult life, he worked and travelled in both Canada and the US. Billy served in the US Air Force before he moved back to Canada to care for his mother. He enjoyed travel, music, cooking, motorcycles, and visiting with friends. Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at SAAMIS MEMORIAL FUNERAL CHAPEL, #1 Dunmore Road SE, on Friday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and at Little Knoll Cemetery on Saturday from 9:30 to 10:00 a.m. A Graveside Service will be held at LITTLE KNOLL CEMETERY (take Black & White Trail/Range Road 60 turning left on Township Road 62, then turn right on Range Road 55, cemetery is on the right) on Saturday, August 5th, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. with Gary W.
