ETHEL BERNHART

Ethel Jean Bernhart, beloved wife of the late Ted Bernhart passed away peacefully and went to be with her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ on Sunday, January 7, 2018 at the age of 79 years.
A reception will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion, 202 – 5 Avenue East, Bow Island, on Friday, January 12, 2018 between 2:00 P.M. and 4:00 P.M. A private burial will be held at the Bow Island Cemetery. Condolences may be forwarded by visiting our website at www.southlandfuneral.com.
Ethel leaves to cherish her memory two daughters Gerry (Don) Johnson of Bow Island and Shelly (Glen) Galipeau of Medicine Hat; four sons Darwin (Carol) Bernhart of Medicine Hat, Mike (Sara) Bernhart of Medicine Hat, Daniel (Laura) Bernhart of Redcliff and James (Jolean) Bernhart of Medicine Hat; sister Lee Doell; eleven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband Ted Bernhart, grandchild Ashley Booth and brother Lloyd Lucas.
Ethel cherished her time as a caterer and restauranteur who immensely enjoyed feeding a great many people over the years. She was also an avid baseball fan who loved following her beloved Toronto Blue Jays through many seasons, good or bad.

It is with heavy hearts that we receive the news of your moms passing.I do believe she was ready to go tho. She and your father were great friends of ours and we have many happy memories of time spent together.We had lost contact but are so thankful to reconnected in the last couple of years( I believe through our daughter Carmen and Dan- Facebook-Thank You )We are unable to be with you all on Friday but you will be in our thoughts. please let us know when the internment will be.
