RONALD “IRISH” ANTON
Posted: October 9th, 2018Ronald “Irish” Malcolm Anton, beloved husband of the late Hilda Anton, passed away peacefully at his home while surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, October 3, 2018, at the age of 86 years. Irish’s memory will be cherished in the hearts of his children, Brenda (Joe) Kovacs, Randy (Tracy) Anton and Linda Klug; grandchildren, Brandy Leitch (Michael) and Josh Kovacs as well his lifelong family friend, Ted Smith. He was predeceased by his wife, Hilda; son, James; parents, James and Teresa as well as ten siblings. A Celebration of Irish’s life will be held at Cook Southland Funeral Chapel, 901 – 13 Street S.W., Medicine Hat on Wednesday, October 10, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. with Major Murray Jaster officiating. A private interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery with a time of fellowship and refreshments thereafter in the Canteen at the Royal Canadian Legion, 702 – 2 Street S.E., Medicine Hat.
