1930 ~ BONOGOFSKI ~ 2021Posted: January 13th, 2021
Barbara Bonogofski, beloved wife of Peter Bonogofski of Medicine Hat, passed away peacefully in the loving arms of her husband at Age Care Valleyview on Saturday, January 9, 2021 at the age of 90 years. She is lovingly remembered by her daughters, Ann (Larry) Flaig of Assiniboia, Saskatchewan, and Betty Ann Bugg of Lethbridge, Alberta; her grandchildren, Justin (Jackie) Bugg of Lethbridge and their children Heston and Holden, Jennifer Bugg (Jamie Arnold) of Coaldale and their children Reese and Linden. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Evelyn Kurtz; and many nieces and nephews. Barbara is predeceased by her parents, Lawrence and Magdalena Kurtz; her daughter, Patty Bonogofski; her son-in-law, Terry Bugg; her siblings; as well as extended family members. Mom enjoyed gardening, especially when it came to her flowers and tomatoes. Family and friends enjoyed coffee and mom’s delicious dishes that she would serve up in no time at all. The grandchildren and great grandchildren put a smile on her face, a skip in her step, and warmed her heart. Mom fought hard the last few years, but chose to join her daughter, Patty in Heaven. She has become an angel for those who need her. We will hear her Hail Mary’s whispered gently for all! Thank you to the staff of Age Care Valleyview for the care and support mom received and dad continues to receive.
