June 17, 1952 – March 7, 2021

It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Roberta Gwinner on March 7, 2021 from COVID-19 at the age of 67.

Originally from Medicine Hat, Roberta spent her recent years in Edmonton. Roberta was predeceased by her parents Robert and Freda Gwinner and her sisters Lillian Fisher and Rosemary Baumback. She is survived by her siblings Peter Gwinner, Julie Munro, Dan Gwinner, and their families. At Roberta’s request, there will be no formal service.

A quiet family memorial will be held once public health restrictions are lifted. The family wishes to thank Dr. Sprague and the staff at the Grey Nuns Community Hospital in Edmonton for the compassionate care shown to Roberta in her final days. Those wishing to pay their respects to Roberta may do so with a donation to the Alberta Cancer

Foundation, a charity she generously supported until the time of her passing.
