Rob was predeceased by his parents, Mona and Bud Church; and his brother, Lynn Church.

Rob was born November 1st, 1951, in Medicine Hat. Rob started working at Safeway at the age of 16 years and over the course of 45 years, worked at several stores in Medicine Hat and Lethbridge, retiring in 2013 at the Safeway Gas Bar.

Rob and Sheila met in 1974, married in 1976. Together they had 2 sons, Cameron and Cody.

Rob was involved in coaching his sons in minor hockey and enjoyed watching them play. He announced the Cubs hockey games for several years.

He enjoyed MCing at weddings and hockey banquets, entertaining everyone with his humor. In later years, he enjoyed trail rides, riding his horse, Radar, with friends in the Cypress Hills.

For years, Rob and Sheila entertained friends at their September long weekend parties playing horseshoes.

His retirement years were spent enjoying time with his 6 grandkids and going to classic car shows. Rob’s grandkids will always remember hugs and cuddle times with their Papa.

A private family memorial will be held at a later date.
