She was a wonderful mother, even from a young age she would hand make the children’s clothes, while moving from town to town as Gordon worked on the railroad. She worked tirelessly as a stay at home mother to her 5 children. Eventually settling in Lethbridge, she spent many hours with her growing family, traveling, entertaining Gordon’s Sunlife clients, crocheting, knitting, and gardening. She moved to Medicine Hat in 1998 when Gordon became ill, to be closer to her family. After Gordon’s passing she enjoyed spending time with family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also enjoyed many different activities including; painting, embroidery, & gardening. She was a kind, loving gentle person, with a strong stubborn streak. Richard (Diane) and Family,
We were so very sorry to hear the news about your Moms passing. We thought she would be amazing having raised you but we really enjoyed getting to know her a little bit more from her obituary information. She sounded like someone to be cherished, and a blessing to have had in your lives. May she bring a little excitement to heaven.
Thinking of you all.
