BRAYDEN GUCKERT

BRAYDEN GUCKERT 1993 ~ 2026 Brayden Jay Guckert of Medicine Hat, Alberta, passed away suddenly on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at the age of 32 years. He was born in Medicine Hat to Brent Guckert and Melody Guckert. Since birth, he was always interested in anything loud and fast, which is something he carried with him throughout his entire life. He spent countless hours riding and working on his various motorcycles and dirt bikes. In 2015, he completed his Journeyman B Pressure with a Red Seal in welding at the Medicine Hat College. Since then, he’s been widely recognized as an accomplished welder who put pride into his work everywhere he went. Brayden spent every possible second of his free time with his son, Houston Guckert. The bond between these two was nothing short of incredible. Before he passed, Brayden was teaching Houston how to bike, and Houston would regularly ask to visit the pump track. Brayden passed on his sense of adventure and love for life to Houston, which was evident in how often Houston would physically attempt to drag his dad to anything loud with an engine. Brayden and Houston were inseparable and the adventures they had will live on in memory. Brayden is survived by his son, Houston Jay Guckert, his father and stepmother, Brent and Lisa Guckert; his mother, Melody Guckert (Mike Collins); his sister, Teyara (Jordan) Heerink; his brothers, Kobe Guckert (Anna Morrison) and Koen Guckert (Madisyn Brown) and his nephews, Knox and Boh Heerink. Brayden is survived by a countless number of family and friends he loved and was loved by in return. The funeral service will be held in the PATTISON FUNERAL HOME & CELEBRATION OF LIFE CENTRE on Friday, June 5, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. with Life Celebrant, David Townsend officiating. Family and friends who wish to pay their respects may do so one hour prior to the service. The service will be live streamed. Those who wish to attend virtually, please visit Brayden’s obituary page on our website for the link. Interment will follow in the HILLSIDE CEMETERY.
