RONALD MORGAN
Posted: July 14th, 20261949 ~ RON DELBERT MORGAN ~ 2026
With grateful hearts and countless cherished memories, we celebrate the life of Ron Morgan, who passed away peacefully on July 09, 2026. Ron embraced life with enthusiasm, kindness, and a wonderful sense of humour. Whether listening to stories over coffee and happy hour, playing his favourite game of crib, or making everyone laugh with a quick joke, he had a remarkable ability to brighten the lives of those around him. Born on May 10, 1949, in Lethbridge, Alberta, Ron built a life centred on love, family, friendship, and gentleness. He enjoyed games of any kind and found joy in music, parties and of course the Medicine Hat Tigers. He never missed an opportunity to make lasting memories with those he loved. More than any accomplishment, Ron will be remembered for a generous spirit, unwavering optimism, and the way he made everyone feel welcome. The lessons he shared through words, actions, and example will continue to inspire family and friends for years to come. Ron is lovingly survived by his wife, Donna Morgan; brothers, Denny Morgan and Barry Morgan; and sister, Brenda (Hank) Berry. He is also survived by Donna’s family, Sandi (Brian) Unreiner, Daryl (Cindy) Klaudt; special nieces and nephews and always there friends, Kimberley and Steven. While our hearts are heavy with loss, they are also full of gratitude for the time we were fortunate enough to share. A celebration of life will be held on July 20, 2026, at Saamis Memorial Funeral Chapel, #1 Dunmore Road SE, Medicine Hat, T1A 1Z5, at 1:00 PM. If unable to attend, family and friends are welcome to participate via livestream by logging on to www.saamis.com and joining the live webcast on Ron’s memorial page at the above date and time. A virtual guest book is available on the livestream page for those participating remotely. Following the service, keeping with Ron’s joyful spirit, guests are further invited to a Come and Go at the Medicine Hat Golf and Country Club, 947 Pigeon St NE, Medicine Hat, AB T1C 1R2, from 2 PM – 5 PM. Though Ron’s journey has come to an end, the laughter, love, and kindness he gave so freely will live on in everyone whose life was touched. We say goodbye with sadness, but even more with gratitude-for a life well lived and a legacy of love that will never fade. Donations can be made in Ron’s name to a local charity of your choice.
