MARGARET CAMPBELL January 12, 1936 ~ July 23, 2026
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Margaret Annetta Campbell announce her passing away in Medicine Hat on Thursday, July 23, 2026, at the age of 90 years.
Margaret was born in Medicine Hat on January 12, 1936, the youngest of six children born to Edith and Jacob Kallenberger.
She worked at Kresge’s for 25 years and retired at the age of 53. During her retirement, Margaret enjoyed crocheting, baking, going for lunch with her girlfriends and trying her luck at the casino. She treasured the friendships she made throughout her life and enjoyed spending time with those she loved.
Margaret was married twice, and both husbands predeceased her. She shared 13 happy years of marriage with her first husband, George Sauer and later married Bill Campbell, whom she shared another 13 years of marriage with.
Along with both her husbands, Margaret was predeceased by her parents, Edith and Jacob Kallenberger; her sister, Alice Webb and her brothers, Wallace, Lance, Joe and Harris Kallenberger.
She leaves to cherish her memory her sisters-in-law, Marion and Norma Kallenberger as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members.
Margaret will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by all who knew her.
