KATHRYN MICHAUD 1939 ~ 2026 Kathryn ‘Tina’ Michaud (nee Teichroeb), born April 8, 1939, in Swift Current, SK, left the world peacefully on August 3, 2026. With heavy hearts and profound gratitude for a life rich in love and strength, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and matriarch. She was a true force of nature a woman whose heart was as boundless as her resilience. In almost nine decades, she built an enduring legacy of warmth, courage, and unconditional support. Her life’s greatest joy was the extraordinary family she raised and cherished. As a devoted mother to six children, she led with a gentle hand, warm heart and incredibly witty sense of humour. She taught her family how to navigate life’s challenges with grace, how to find joy in the everyday, and how to hold tightly to one another. Though we deeply feel her absence, her spirit flourishes in the family tree she nurtured so lovingly. Her strength lives on in her six children, her laughter echoes in her 14 grandchildren, and her legacy lights the way for her 18 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Rene Michaud; her parents; and several siblings. She is survived by her six children, Judy (Dale) Kosi and their children, Troy (Amber) and Amy (Chad); Robert (Shannon) Michaud and their children, Danny, Mitchell and Crimson; Jean (Bill) Gruning and their children, Massena (Sara) and Jena (Scott); Joan (Pete) Michaud, and their children, Blake (Linh) and Logan; Carrie (Bill) Wall and their children, Kevin and Morganne (Wyatt); Della (Mike) Feeney and their children, Scott (Meghan), Derek (Katie), Kara (Blake); eighteen great-grandchildren, and a wide circle of extended family and friends who will forever carry her memory in their hearts. The family would like to send a special thanks to Jamie and the Oncology team at MH Hospital, Dr. Filanti and her very special friend Adela. A private family Graveside Service was held on Thursday, August 06, 2026. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Margery E. Yuill Cancer Centre, Alberta Cancer Foundation, 710, 10123-99 Street, Edmonton, AB T5J 3H1, 1-866-412-4222, albertacancer.ca/in-memory.
