DARWIN JAMES GREAVES October 9, 1949 – October 4, 2026. Darwin James Greaves passed away in the early hours of October 4th, just a few days shy of what would have been his 77th birthday.
Judge Greaves was a true Renaissance man; sportsman, scholar, storyteller, gardener, and friend.
He was also a dad, grandfather and husband.He will be missed by his loving wife Diana and his three daughters Amanda Andrews, Juliana Rempel and Emily Sorensen, grandchildren and brother Dale Greaves and sister Donna Braham. In true character, he left the party quietly and a tad early. But he brought much laughter, generosity and so damn much knowledge.If you feel inclined to honor our dad’s memory, please buy your neighbor a coffee. Share a story or a laugh. He would love that.

Darwin was a friend and a mentor. I learned so much. from Darwin during my Police career.
My wife Mona was a city clerk and later the administrator of Provincial court.
We both have fond memories of Darwin both as a prosecutor and Judge.
He was the most dedicated lawyer we have ever known.
He was a most trusted to us.
