PETERSON GarthPosted: December 10th, 2014
GARTH DONALD PETERSON, beloved husband of Mary (Gejdos) of Spring Coulee, Alberta passed away at the Foothills Hospital on Friday, December 5, 2014, at the age of 86 years. He was the loving father of Chris (Ed) Schuld, and Donald (Marlyse) Peterson. He is also survived by his grandchildren: Lynsey and Ryley Schuld, and Shylow Peterson; his sister, Lois (Phil) Story; sister-in-law, Janette Peterson; brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Elnore Gejdos, and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. He was predeceased by his brother Lloyd Peterson; and brother and sisters-in-law: Tony and Matilda Gejdos, and Helen and Bernie Ball. He will be lovingly remembered by all who met him. Garth always stressed that hard work is one of the key elements of success, and a handshake was as good as his word. We love you and miss you! No funeral by request. In lieu of flowers, Garth asked, "To give a friend a hug!"
Our thoughts and prayers are with you Mary and your family. Our sincere condolences.
I was reading the newspaper the other week and put the dots together of the name Peterson, and the rest followed as I realized that this was the passing of the father of a special acquaintance of long ago . Please accept our most heartfelt sympathies for your loss. Our thoughts are with you and your family during this difficult time.
I am very sorry to hear about your dad, my condolences to you and your family. He was a wonderful man, he will be missed.
